'Better Call Saul' star Bob Odenkirk wants 'Breaking Bad' spinoff to be a prequel and sequel

  • Glen Ellyn native Bob Odenkirk grew up in Napervilleand attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale before leaving college to move to Chicago, where he worked in improv. His Chicago comedy experience led him to "Saturday Night Live," where he was a writer. Known mostly for his comedy, including "Mr. Show with Bob and David," Odenkirk currently stars as lawyer Saul Goodman in AMC's "Breaking Bad." His character is getting a spin-off prequel.

Business Insider reports: "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" star Bob Odenkirk wants to see the spinoff not only be a prequel but also a sequel to "Breaking Bad." “I’ll tell you, and I’ve told the guys, I want to see both,” said Odenkirk to Business Insider, eager to see the story of his character Saul Goodman pre- and post-Walter White.
