Shradha Agarwal, 28, is co-founder of ContextMedia, a Loop-based health care media company that informs and educates patients on specific conditions while in physician and hospital waiting rooms.

RedEye talked to Agarwal, who recently won the Tech Woman of the Year at Chicago's annual Moxie Awards ceremony.

On encouraging more women to enter the tech world: "In the short term, women need to build a stronger sense of community to support each other but also share with others each others' accomplishments. Simultaneously, we need to have these amazing women share their personal story with young girls to serve as role models and show them that women can be in tech and do so successfully "

On what business advice would you give: "It's OK to make mistakes. It's OK to not have all the answers."
