October 18, 2013|By Rachel Cromidas, @rachelcromidas | RedEye

Two men were arrested Thursday afternoon after they were caught stealing several duffel bags full of clothing from the Lakeview American Apparel, county prosecutors said.

Damien Beal, 20, of the 1400 block of West 110th Place, and Terrel Esther, 18, of the 4500 block of West Van Buren Street, were charged with burglary when police found them hiding the bags under a porch just yards away from the retail outlet on Belmont Avenue, county prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said that both men admitted to going into the store when police arrested them and asked witnesses to identify them as the burglars.

Beal and Esther were brought to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse on Friday afternoon and ordered held on $50,000 bond. After bond was set, one of the men shouted, "$50,000 D [bond]? Hell no, Hell no," as he was led out of the court room.
