A man was arrested or allegedly stealing a woman's cell phone while wearing a hockey mask à la Jason from "Friday the 13th," county prosecutors said.

Juan Rosales, 30, was armed with a box cutter and disgusted with the Jason-mask when he entered a Family Dollar store in the 5000 block of South Pulaski Avenue Wednesday evening, prosecutors said.

According to the police report, Rosales attacked a woman in the back of the store while wearing the mask and stole her cell phone. He was stopped by police after a witness heard the woman screaming and pressed a panic button in the store, according to court records. Rosales was charged with armed robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint.

Rosales was brought to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse Friday afternoon and ordered held on $250,000 bond.
