Sunday's loss to New Orleans wasn't fun. The Bears' interior defense got exposed and their offense got confused early on, digging a hole too deep to escape.

Thankfully, Bears Nation had only three days to mourn the season's second loss. Thursday the Bears host the woeful New York Giants, and they're gonna make it a laugher. Yeah, yeah, "any given Sunday"… well, it ain't Sunday. FACTS FLYING AT YOUR FACE:

>> Since 2010, the home team in these Thursday night games is 21-10.

>> The Giants have the third-worst scoring average (16.4) and worst scoring defense average (36.4). Yes, they've lost all five games by an average of 20 freaking points.

>> The Giants have the worst turnover margin in football (minus-13).

>> That formerly fearsome Giants defense has registered the second-fewest sacks so far, with a mere five.

Vegas says the Bears should win by nine. I say they'll win by 20. I'm so confident in this prediction that I've opened a wormhole in the fabric of spacetime just to bring you TWEETS. FROM. TONIGHT!
