A man from Humboldt Park was arrested Sunday afternoon on charges of tackling a teenager at Riot Fest and stealing his cell phone, county prosecutors said.

Devon Burnett, 20, of the 1700 block of North Kedzie Avenue, not far from where the three-day music festival was staged, was caught with a cell phone belonging to an Ashburn teenager who attended the festival, according to police records.

Burnett tackled the teenager to the ground during the festival, county prosecutors said, and held him down while telling him to give up his wallet and cell phone. Burnett, who is on parole for a juvenile unlawful weapons possession offense, allegedly also told the teenager he had a gun. Burnett was tracked down to his home, the police report said, Sunday afternoon.

Burnett was brought to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse Tuesday afternoon and ordered held on $75,000 bond.
