CTA Red Line station review: Lawrence stop

The CTA has not forgotten about you, Lawrence stop. The Uptown station received a facelift last year that included stationhouse and sidewalk fixes. In a newsletter this summer to riders, the CTA said it continues to work on the Red and Purple Line modernization project that would upgrade the northern Red Line. The Lawrence stop has been previously potentially slated for closure as part of this project. The agency said it will have a draft of the environmental impact of the project next year.
