The Bears' undisputed locker room DJ is Lance Briggs, but in the weight room, personal iPods often rule. We asked Bears players for their workout playlists. Can you guess which quote goes with which player?
Kyle Adams, tight end
When I work out? I usually listen to whatever's in the weight room. But my favorite music is country music.
Joe Anderson, wide receiver
Oh, I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. It all depends on how I'm feeling. I like a lot of slow jams. It depends. I'll listen to gospel. I rarely listen to much rap. [But] I'll groove to a little rap here and there.
Nate Collins, defensive tackle
It's a whole bunch of different things. I like a lot of A$AP Rocky, I like French Montana. Jadakiss. Jay-Z. It's just a mix. I usually use Pandora and let it randomize it. I just listen to a whole bunch of different things.
Matt Forte, running back
I listen to most of the new stuff that comes out. I put it on Pandora and I put it on today's R&B and hip-hop. And whatever today's stuff is, they play good current stuff that's on the radio.
Robbie Gould, kicker
DJ Megan Taylor from the city put together a [mix] called "Beats" on an iPod Touch for me. You'll listen to anything from classic rock to rap to country. But I usually listen to that list that she put together.
Brandon Hardin, safety
Definitely top 40. Sometimes I go to Pandora and put on a dubstep station. It gets you in the right mindset. In the weight room, sometimes we don't have music playing over the speakers, sometimes we do. But usually it's on top 40 rap stations. Something high energy.
Kyle Long, offensive lineman
Man, I got a few things on my workout playlist. Right now Titanium—David Guetta is one of them. There's some Jay-Z on there from the new Jay-Z album. I've got some Led Zeppelin on there. A lot of Led Zeppelin. Cream, Strange Brew. I love Clapton. A lot of Jimi Hendrix. A lot of old stuff. If you were to look at my stuff you'd be like, "When was this guy born?" Good stuff.
Cheta Ozougwu, defensive end
I like a lot of Christian rap. Lecrae is a really good Christian rapper. Trip Lee. My boy Reconcile. You probably don't know these guys. But that's who I got on my playlist.
Anthony Walters, safety
We don't listen to anything with the Bears. We don't play music. If I do it individually then it will be some form of hip-hop. Jay-Z, J. Cole, Wayne, Kanye West, Drake, that whole crew. I need some good substance in my lyrics.
Aston Whiteside, defensive lineman
Just some Texas music, man. I like to listen to artists called J-Dawg or Lil Boosie. That's who I like to listen to.
Marquess Wilson, wide receiver
I don't have anything in particular. Usually R&B. A little bit of Chris Brown or Trey Songz, something like that.
Major Wright, safety
Mine is mostly rap. Lil Wayne, Drake, Ross, 2 Chainz. A bunch of artists that I like. I just pick the best song that fits me, that kind of gets me pumped, gets my blood pumping, and gets me going.
