Restaurant worker charged with iPad theft

A former Centro restaurant employee was arrested Monday morning for theft, county prosecutors said.

The man was accused of taking two iPads from the Near North Side restaurant and failing to return them.

Gino Rocco, 46, of Painfield, Ill., was charged with robbery from the restaurant, located at 6 W. Hubbard St.

Rocco was brought to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse on Tuesday afternoon and released on a $10,000 I-bond.
