When The Underground closed for a reboot early this year, Rockit Ranch CEO Billy Dec promised a summer reopening. True to his word, an expanded and revamped The Underground will make its debut August 1.

Rockit Ranch, the company that also owns Ay Chiwowa, Rockit Bar & Grill, Rockit Burger Bar and the still-shuttered Dragon Ranch Moonshine & BBQ, largely has been mum on details of the renovation of the six-year-old club until recently.

In this teaser video, a cryptic Dec offers few concrete details, but promises the new club will be on "a whole other level" and will "blow peoples' minds."

The subterranean space will double in size and will see the addition of a space called The Lounge with plush seating, cocktails and a champagne bar.

A new 40-foot video wall will dominate The Club, the dance-centric portion of the space, which also will feature an elevated DJ booth and carbon dioxide cannons.

Parties are planned to kick off the opening weekend and include performances and sets by DJ and former Lindsay Lohan flame Samantha Ronson (Aug. 3) and "On the Way Down" singer and hair-product enthusiast Ryan Cabrera (Aug. 1).
