Here's Boardway's own words:
"I left work to meet up with some friends at Merkle’s to watch the game, and as soon as I got to Wrigley the cops were already setting up the barricades. Just by the energy outside you could tell that if we won the whole place was going to erupt. We were still celebrating the second goal when the third one went in, and that last minute of play was the longest of my life. I stuck around just long enough for the obligatory “We Are The Champions” and one more round of "Chelsea Dagger" before I closed my tab and headed outside, two fresh beers hidden in the waistband of my pants. I wasn’t outside for more than a minute before I could see the barricades shaking, and that’s when I started filming - I needed to catch that on video for my Dad."
