Given Ivy Lounge's design and menu, you wouldn't imagine it's in Wrigleyvilleand that's just what the owners want.

Located on the rooftop of Casey Moran's, Ivy Lounge is the new name for the Clark Street bar's revamped second-floor outdoor space. Ivy Lounge will open this weekend (at 11 a.m. Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday) with cocktails and a small-plates menu that are designed to offer a more upscale option in the neighborhood.

While beer is the name of the game downstairs at Casey Moran's, Ivy Lounge will offer seasonal cocktails such as the Razbeary Rickets (raspberry vodka, lime juice, Chambord,
fresh raspberries, citrus soda) and Summer Bourbon Punch (bourbon, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, lemon juice and ginger beer) in addition to classics like mojitos, sangria and Moscow mules.

Shareable plates on the menu include bacon-wrapped dates ($9), oyster shooters ($12) and crab spring rolls ($11). The new lounge also will debut brunch service and a mimosa bar this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The 130-person-capacity space has received a facelift from James Geier of 555 Design, the firm that designed Girl & The Goat and Perennial Virant restaurants. Gone are the metal chairs and white columns, replaced by lighter bar stools, light wood beams and a white brick wall.

Ivy Lounge will be open until 11 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on weekends.
