NASCAR drivers Travis Pastrana, Regan Smith handing out ice cream in Chicago

NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Travis Pastrana and Regan Smith will be piloting an ice cream truck around Chicago today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Pastrana, an 11-time X-Games gold medalist now running his first full NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule, and Regan Smith, currently first in the Nationwide Series points standings, will be passing out chilly treats at four stops in the downtown area in anticipation of this weekend's Chicagoland Speedway’s Rally, Rock & Race.

Stop times and locations are listed below. Both drives will do a question-and-answer session with fans from 2 to 3 p.m. at the final Bub City stop, located at 435 N. Clark St. 

For a suggested $1 donation, fans can select a bomb pop, Pastrana’s featured item, or an ice cream sandwich, Smith’s featured item. The driver with the most sales will earn money for his charity of choice.

Stops and locations:  

Note: times are approximate, subject to change.

Stop 1 –11 a.m. –Just outside ESPN Radio, located at 190 N. State St.

Stop 2 – 12 p.m. – Millennium Park, near Randolph Street.

Stop 3 – 1 p.m. – Pioneer Court, just outside Tribune Tower, located at 435 N. Michigan Ave.

Stop – 2p.m. – Bub City, 435 N. Clark Street.
