When Andrew Shaw scored to mercifully end Game 1 in the third overtime Wednesday at the United Center--giving the Blackhawks a 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins--NBC captured some of the best celebration audio you'll ever hear.

"Bollie! I love you!" Shaw, who was amazingly mic'd up, screamed at Dave Bolland in the scrum, followed by the amazing line: "I love shin pads!"

You probably can guess who had the assist, and which part of Shaw's body the puck caromed off.

In the spirit of showing some love (and a little hate), we document the love and hate moments of Saturday's Game 2 at the United Center.

Pregame

Love: The fans are JACKED! From goalie helmets to red mohawks, they're dressed for battle.

Hate: We spotted Boston fans posing for pictures with the Ice Crew girls. Needless to say, Hawks fans unleashed the boos. Nobody messes with the Ice Crew!

Love: Jim Cornelison. Enough said.

First period

Hate: Nick Leddy takes a hard hit into the boards, but he bounces up. Dodged a bullet there, but the Hawks bench is piiiiiised.

Hate: Have you SEEN Rask's mask?!

Hate: We hear the TV feed went out. RedEye's in the press area, but we feel for our friends at home who couldn't watch.

Love: Patrick Sharp with a goal 11 minutes into the game to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. See, he's a better scorer than a fighter! Sharp and Boston's David Krejci both have nine goals in the playoffs to lead the league.

Hate: SOOOOO CLOSE. The refs go to the replay after the puck dribbles over the goal line, but they confirm: No goal. Must have blown the whistle.

Love: If you thought that first period looked lopsided, that's because it was. The Hawks outshot the Bruins 19-4! That matches the fewest shots Boston has had in a period during the playoffs.

Score: Blackhawks 1, Bruins 0

Second period

Hate: Dave Bolland is sent to the penalty box just a couple of minutes into the period for tripping.

Love: On his way to the sin bin, Bolland gives the Bruins' Brad Marchand one of those fake-out non-punches you used to throw at your snotty little brother. Aaaaand, the Hawks easily kill the penalty.

Love: The Hawks get their second power play when Johnny Boychuk is called for holding Sharp. Sharp is EVERYWHERE!

Love: Jaromir Jagr is hanging and shaking his head during a break in play. It ain't easy being a 41-year-old NHL player.

Hate: Chris Kelly knocks in a rebound to even the score at 1-1. Wow, that's a lot of domination with only a tie score to show for it. Bonus trivia: It's Kelly's first goal of these playoffs.

Love: The Hawks go back on the power play after Dennis Seidenberg is called for tripping.

Hate: And nada. Jonathan Toews misses a cross in front of the net, and the Hawks are now 0-for-6 on the power play in the series. Then insult to injury: Johnny Oduya is called for a tripping penalty.

Hate: Boston finishes with eight shots on goal in this period. Chicago finished with--cough, cough--four.

Score: Blackhawks 1, Bruins 1

Third period

Love: The Hawks kill that carry-over power play without much problem.

Love: Corey Crawford makes a series of fantastic saves. The Bruins are making up for lost time with their pressure in the Hawks' zone.

Hate: Tied at 1-1 with eight minutes left, the Hawks have given the fans NOTHING to cheer for. And we may have heard a Boston fan summon the courage to scream "Let's go Bruins!" ... Huh?

Love: While the Hawks look sluggish on the ice, the fans are doing their best to will the team to victory.

Hate: In a fairly uneventful period, the Hawks get only a couple of good looks and can't muster a goal. So its ... BACK TO OVERTIME. How mant OTs we got in this one?!

Score: Blackhawks 1, Bruins 1

Overtime

Love: The Hawks are shooting at the goal directly in front of RedEye's press seat. COME TO DADDY!

Hate: Jagr hits the post only a minute and a half into the period. He lets out a scream when it bouces the wrong way.

Hate: The Hawks look tired. Those OTs are catching up. Even the breakaways look to be normal speed.

Hate: And with seven minutes left in OT, Daniel Paille ends the game with a rocket past Crawford. The series is tied and 1-1, and we'll see you in Boston for Game 3 on Monday.

Final score: Bruins 2, Blackhawks 1
