Midnight breakfast is such a McTease

Gutter palates rejoice! McDonald's finally is going to serve breakfast as early as midnight at select 24-hour locations.

Can I get an "amen"?!

It's a step in the right direction. But the question remains: What am I supposed to do with a mad hankering for a McGriddle at 10:32 a.m.? Because until midnight on most days, we'll still be SOL.

Sorry to be a total Debbie Downer about this news, but it does make me hopeful that one day McDonald's will offer a 24/7 breakfast menu, and hopefully bring back the talking McNuggets commercials. I just loved those.

One can only imagine what this means for late-night snackers. Are you telling me the 4 a.m. bars are about to smell like sex AND fake maple syrup? And that everyone's going to order a McMuffin appetizer with his or her late-night Big Mac, creating the ultimate hangover meal (whether or not you are drunk to begin with, because let's face it, McDonald's breakfast makes you feel hung over even if you weren't drinking)?

I'll give this a whirl, but I'm not fully on board unless I can get a pancake McFlurry.
