Chefs from eight local Mexican restaurants throw down in an outdoor molé competition—set against the neighborhood's viaduct wall murals—where you can sample their offerings ($1-$5) and vote for your favorite. Additional festivities include lucha libre wrestlers, an artist expo, beer ($4-$6) and street food ($2-$10), live folkloric music, DJs, and fire dancers. 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. No cover.

'The Cotton Mouth Club'

Chicago Dance Crash performs its original surrealist fantasy movement play—set to the music of Michael Jackson and Outkast and featuring hip-hop, ballet, jazz, swing, acrobatics, breakdance and contemporary dance styles—about a young Prohibition Era speakeasy owner, his long-suffering wife and rival gangs of hooch producers.
