If you missed the latest James Bond movie "Skyfall" or Oscar award-winning "Life of Pi" in the theater, the good news is you can catch up and watch the movies in a park this summer.
The 13th annual Movies in the Parks, sponsored by Charter One and RCN, runs June 13 through Sept. 14 at 150 parks. For a schedule, click here.
The movie series will feature 195 films ranging from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" to Chicago favorite "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
There is a little something for everybody: "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "X-Men: First Class" for superhero and comic fans, "Annie" for musical lovers, "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" for Will Ferrell fans, and a number of 1980s movies including "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," "The Goonies," and "Back to the Future" for nostalgic movie buffs.
Admission is free. Showtime is at dusk. Just bring your own snacks and blanket.
