Do-Division festival reveals full musical lineup

April 29, 2013|By Adam Lukach, @lucheezy | RedEye

The Do-Division Street Festival announced its full musical lineup, and, as per usual, it's impressive.

The festival, which runs from May 31-June 2 of this year, has nabbed both some national indie darlings and local acts, as the bands will share the stage with DJs for continuous music throughout the weekend. Ariel Pink, inc., Torche, Gaslamp Killer, Archie Powell and the Exports and Jeff the Brotherhood give the lineup its weight, and the other acts aren't too shabby themselves.

This year's festival will retain the Family Fun Fest during the latter two days (perfect for having fun with your family at a festival), and will add a Do-Fashion part to the festival, showcasing some of the trendy fashions from around the 'hood.

The festival runs 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There is a suggested $5 donation but is otherwise free. So get out there and have some funk in the sun.
