The burglaries took place around the 4100 block of South Ellis, the 700 block of East 41st Street, the 4500 block of South Drexel, the 500 block of South Evans, the 4600 block of South Drexel, the 1300 block of East 47th Street, and the 4700 block of South Forrestville, the alert said.

To avoid burglary, police recommend residents park their cars in well lit spots, lock their doors, and remove valuable items from their cars before leaving them.
