Wiz Khalifa announces summer tour, Chicago date

April 22, 2013|By Adam Lukach, @lucheezy | RedEye

Wiz Kalifa stays medicated, medicated by a drug called "music." You might have heard of it, and he wants you to feel it too.

Khalifa is a well-known music smoker, and is bringing back his "Under the Influence of Music" Tour for a second go-around, following the successful 10-date tour last year when he inspired many to start rolling their own joints of music. He plans to make Chicago one of his 20 stops this year, coming to the First Midwest Bank Amphiteatre on July 30 with a host of friends, because everyone knows smoking music is more fun in a group.

Included on this year's tour will be A$AP Rocky, B.o.B, Trinidad Jame$, Joey Bada$$ with Pro Era, Berner, Chevy Woods and Smoke DZA. All of them are music enthusiasts like Khalifa, and if you've ever made the rap blog rounds, it's something of a blog-star lineup.

Tickets will be on sale to the general pub beginning April 27. Fans can visit this Facebook page for a chance to register for early access presale tickets, as there will be a $15 early bird special to everyone through 10 p.m. April 28. Visit ticketmaster.com or livenation.com for further ticketing details.
