EAT

Now Open

Takito Kitchen 2013 W. Division St. 773-687-9620

Chef David Dworshak (Carnivale, Spring) and beverage manager Adam Weber (Trencherman, Mercadito) partner up for this new artisanal taqueria featuring specialties as lamb chorizo tacos with Brunkow cheese, tomatillo-pistachio salsa and fresh tortillas made from locally sourced corn ($11) and craft cocktails including the La Paloma (lime, grapefruit, tequila; $10), 5-10 p.m.

Reopening

Lillie's Q at the Chicago French Market 131 N. Clinton St. 312-575-0306

The barbecue restaurant's Bucktown location sustained serious damage during a fire earlier this month, but you can still get their fresh-smoked pulled pork as a sandwich on a brioche bun ($7), by the half-pound ($9) or pound ($17) and coleslaw ($3) until each day's offerings sell out. Chef-owner Charlie McKenna hopes to expand the menu in April. 10 a.m.-approximately 4 p.m.

DRINK

Wine Wednesday

Viaggio at the Park 401 W. Fullerton Parkway 773-747-3333

Choices abound in the form of half-priced bottles and glasses—nine red and seven white, to be exact—including Jules Taylor sauvignon blanc and Borgo Maragliano La Caliera moscato d'asti, all of which can be yours for $5-$6 per glass or $20-$24 per bottle. 4:30-10 p.m.

DO

Dance Dance Party Party

Perceptual Motion Dance Studio 4057 N. Damen Ave.

Girls just wanna have fun at this free-form dance session where the only rules are "no booze, no boys and no judgment." There also are no instructors and no fitness goals. The lights dim down, a 60-minute playlist of booty-busting songs by a guest DJ commences—this week it's DJ Misfit Toyz—and you dance your cares away. 7-8 p.m. $5. Info: ddppchicago.wordpress.com

(Free!) Kevin Coval

Up Comedy Club 230 W. North Ave. 312-662-4562

The hip-hop performance poet, Young Chicago Authors artistic director and Louder Than A Bomb: The Chicago Youth Poetry Festival founder reads from and signs his new book, "Schtick" and celebrates its release with additional performances by special guests. 7:30 p.m.
