U.S. Cellular Field's new meatball sandwich
U.S. Cellular Field has announced new concessions additions that will be available starting on White Sox Opening Day on April 1.
The Comiskey Burger (available at Burger Barn stands in sections 113 and 529) features a salsa-like topping made from classic Chicago-style hot dog toppings including sport peppers, relish, tomato, onions and celery salt.
There's also a meatball sandwich (121 and 522) and a barbecue pork sandwich called the Bull's BBQ, which was named and created by former White Sox player Greg Luzinski (151 and 531).
The most fun addition might be the Walking Taco, a bag of Fritos served with chili, nacho cheese and a fork, available in sections 110, 164 and 544.
A boon for craft beer fans is the addition of Ebel's Weiss from Warrenville, Ill.-based Two Brothers Brewery. It'll be available in sections 109, 141, 155 and 530. Section 112 will also gain a new beer station serving Batch 19, Third Shift, Henry Weinhard's and Blue Moon Agave blond ale.
