Beware if you plan to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Chicago.
There will be extra police in Lakeview around Clark Street patrolling the area and ready to ticket people drinking and urinating in the public way, according to the newsletter issued by Ald. Tom Tunney (44th).
Also, parking will be restricted on the 3400-3600 blocks of North Clark Street in Wrigleyville.
A ticket for drinking, urinating or defecating in the public way carries a fine of $100 to $500.
If Chicagoans venture downtown for the parade and get caught drinking or peeing within 800 feet of the parade route, the ticket doubles up to $1,000.
