'Desperate Landscapes' wants to make over your yard

(DIY Network )
March 08, 2013|By Adam Lukach, @lucheezy | RedEye

The DIY Network's show "Desperate Landscapes" is coming to Chicago and wants to find the ugliest, most desperate landscapes in the area.

The show, hosted by licensed contractor Jason Cameron, takes dilapidated, disgusting yards and turns them around in eight hours to be the most beautiful lawn you could ever imagine--one that would impress even yard enthusiast Hank Hill from animated sitcom "King of the Hill."

To be featured on the show, you should: be "funky, fun, [and] personable," be surrounded by neighbors that like you and live and work in the Chicago area. The deadline to apply is Apr. 25, and you can do so at jaytv.net.
