Maybe you were short on cash when the Girl Scout cookie order sheet was passed around the office or you were sick that week. Whatever the case, your co-workers are hoarding the Thin Mints and Samoas, and it will be another year before you can stock up on Tagalongs, right?
Wrong.
As early as this weekend, Girl Scouts will hit dozens of Chicago Dominick's, Mariano’s and Jewel grocery stores in full force, selling the stockpiles of cookies to customers. March 6 marks the last day of cookie delivery for those who ordered directly from a scout, but the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana will be all over town tempting grocery shoppers as they leave this month.
