"Chuck" might be long gone, but that isn't keeping Vik Sahay off TV.
If you're a "Bones" watcher, you saw the former Lester Patel guest starring on Monday night's episode, "The Twist in the Plot."
Sahay will appear in the Feb. 5 episode of CBS' "NCIS" called "Canary" in which he plays a computer hacker named Ajay Khan, according to a CBS press release and Sahay's publicist. (She says he's called R. Khan, so the name could have changed.)
The NCIS team wants to track down Khan because they believe he can lead them to the most-wanted cyber-terrorist in the world.
Sahay filmed the role in early January and was impressed by the cast, which continues to draw record ratings in its 10th season. Nearly 23 million viewers watched Jan. 15, the show's second highest rated episode.
"The cast is low-key, friendly and welcoming," Sahay said through his publicist. "Mark Harmon seems to make a real effort to make everyone feel equal and that really sets the tone on set."
Harmon stars with Michael Weatherly, David McCallum, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Rocky Carroll, Brian Dietzen and Cote de Pablo.
"Cote is not only beautiful and talented, but also hysterically funny," Sahay said. "She's been an absolute joy to work with and so was the rest of the cast. That many seasons into the show, I wouldn't have expected them to be this passionate and they are downright hilarious. Fantastic way to start 2013!"
The Canadian actor already has a series regular role lined up on Canada's CTV. He's starring as an eccentric dental hygienist in "Satisfaction," a comedy created and written by Tim McAuliffe ("Up All Night," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon").
His recent film credits include "My Awkward Sexual Adventure," "American Reunion" and his first leading role in a U.S. feature in the horror flick "Wer," which doesn't have a release date yet.
