The many, many sides of Megan Fox

She's a regular 3-ring circus, folks

January 29, 2013|By Dana Moran | RedEye

In 2012, America learned that Megan Fox is funny ... not "funny weird," but "funny ha-ha." But in 2013, we've learned that she might be "funny weird" after all. Megan has popped up on two major magazine covers so far this year -- Esquire and Marie Claire U.K. -- and as you might have guessed, her interviews and cover photos are vastly different for each publication. So different, in fact, that we decided to compare the Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde sides of Megan.

THE COVER

Lady mag Megan: The cover line: "One Funny, Sexy Mummy." WAIT MEGAN FOX IS A ... oh wait, Britain, nevermind. She's also showing off her best model-shoulder-scronch pose, while also practicing showing zero cleavage. It appears to be going well for her.

Dude mag Megan: The cover line: "Megan Fox (You're welcome.)" Thank you? This Megan was hurrying so fast to open the door for the pizza delivery guy that she only had time to do up one button on her sweater, but would also like him to see how well her Crest Whitestrips are working.

OTHER COVER STORIES ...

Lady mag Megan: "My boyfriend used to be a woman," "GET SEXY: The art of seduction in 6 easy steps." One of these articles may also be written by Megan.

Dude mag Megan: "A little advice from Alan Arkin," "THE NEXT FOUR YEARS: Our guide to the near future." Megan wrote neither of these.

ON HER CAREER

Lady mag Megan:

"It's very hard for me to do [professional] stuff, because I feel like this isn't my job anymore. My job is to be with [Noah, her son]."

Dude mag Megan:

"What people don't realize is that fame, whatever your worst experience in high school, when you were being bullied by those ten kids in high school, fame is that, but on a global scale, where you're being bullied by millions of people constantly."

QUOTES:

Lady mag Megan:

"I can't watch the news any more. Everything makes me cry. Because everyone is someone's child, every woman seems like someone's mother. I have so much more patience for people and women in general."

"I believe he's my soul mate. But that doesn't mean it doesn't take work, because we are very, very different."  -- On her husband, Brian Austin Green

Dude mag Megan:

"What distracts me from my reality is Bigfoot. They are my celebrities."

"Even now, in the church I go to, during Praise and Worship I could feel that I was maybe getting ready to speak in tongues, and I'd have to shut it off because I don't know what that church would do if I started screaming out in tongues in the back."
