Chefs from Nightwood, Vera, Allium, Bridgeport Pasty Co., Pleasant House Bakery and Zaytune Mediterranean Grill team up for Chicagoist's Benton House Soup Kitchen benefit for the agency's food pantry, which includes (you guessed it) soup and bread plus tours of the complex's gym, artist residences, gardens, recording studio and Ramova Room, which features seating from the now-closed Ramova Grill. 6-9 p.m. $10 suggested donation.
