Get ready to jump in and make a splash: Registration is now open for this year’s Chicago Polar Plunge.
The Plunge, now in its 13th year, benefits Special Olympics Chicago. It’ll take place March 3 at North Avenue Beach.
Last year’s event had more than 2,000 participants, and the event raised more than $650,000. Participants must raise a minimum of $150 to take part in the plunge, and they have the option to go knee- or waist-deep in the water if the full plunge seems too daunting.
