Vote to decide newest 'NCAA Football' cover

January 03, 2013|RedEye

Taking a page out of the "Madden" playbook, EA Sports' newest "NCAA Football" game is having an election to decide which school will grace its next cover.

Currently in the first round of voting, there are 32 teams primed to advance to the second. Notre Dame leads the pack fo far, followed by Oregon and LSU. Big Ten schools in the top 32 are Ohio State (fourth), Nebraska (sixth), Michigan (seventh), Penn State (10th), Wisconsin (16th) and Iowa (27th). Northwestern and Illinois are, unfortunately, nowhere to be found.

The first round of voting closes soon, as those advancing will be announced on Facebook during halftime of the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 7. Facebook is also the place to vote, where fans can do so on the game's page.
