With Northern Illinois snagging an Orange Bowl bid this weekend, Husky fever is sure to reach a high in the next few weeks. NIU became the first-ever MAC school to receive a BCS bowl game berth, where they will take on the ACC champion Florida State.

So where can alumni take in the atmosphere and action around Chicago? The official locations to watch games are the Goose Island brewpubs in Clybourn and Wrigleyville, but alumni also gather unofficially at Beer on Clark, where they have neighbor tap Clark St. Beach Bar to handle any overflow.

Tweet us at @redeyechicago if you have more suggestions on where to watch NIU in the Orange Bowl! We'll be keeping an eye on watch parties as details are announced, so keep checking back for details. If you're any other kind of alumnus, check out our Chicago college bar guide.
