Dust off that No. 91 jersey and bust out the hair dye.
Hardcore Bulls fans--especially those who hearken for the days of the dynasty--have until midnight to buy their way into a viewing party of Saturday’s game and have drinks with Dennis Rodman.
Daily deal site livingsocial.com is offering a “viewing party experience” for 60 bucks with “The Worm” at Arrow on Ogden in the West Loop, where Bulls vs. Philly will be screened.
As of 1 p.m., 44 tickets had been sold, promising an opportunity to get “up close and personal” with Rodman as well as entry into a costume contest, two drink tickets, photo opportunities and a halftime Q and A. For $130, “VIP” access is offered to an open bar and an autographed photo.
What’s the Worm been up to these days? His official website, dennisrodman.com, was last updated in August, touting his children’s book--you read that right--“Dennis the Wild Bull.” The site says it was due out in September, but it appears shipping has been pushed back to February 2013. The book seeks to convey “good lessons to children based on Dennis’s own experiences as a world class athlete while overcoming obstacles as a child.”
