DRINK

Hop to It

Revolution Brewing 2323 N. Milwaukee Ave. 773-227-2739

Craft beer lovers can sip the latest brew from the local producer—a collaboration with Shedd Aquarium called Penguin Hops, which features hops grown in Shedd's sustainable gardens—and help a good cause, too. For each $5 pint sold, $1 is donated to Shedd's local and global conservation initiatives. 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Also available from 2-10 p.m. at Revolution Tap Room (3340 N. Kedzie Ave. 773-588-2267).

Jazz Age

Frontier 1072 N. Milwaukee Ave. 773-772-4322

Party like it's 1929 at Speakeasy, which features Prohibition era-themed cocktails as the Templeton rye-based The Outpost ($9) and jazz, funk and soul by L.A.-based singer-saxophonist Marqueal Jordan, who's played with everyone from Aretha Franklin to George Duke. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. No cover with password "Dumb Dora."

DO

Down and Dirty

Royal George Theatre 1641 N. Halsted St. 800-982-2787

What's so funny about "50 Shades of Grey?" Find out at the opening night of "Spank! A 50 Shades Parody," a musical satire of the bestselling book written and directed by Jim Millan, whose credits also include "Marijuanalogues with Tommy Chong," "Mythbusters Live" and "The Kids in the Hall." 7:30 p.m. $42.50-$75. Tickets: ticketmaster.com.

Green Light

The Shrine 2109 S. Wabash Ave. 312-399-2695

To some he's the Evil Genius; to others, he's a hip-hop superhero, but either way, high energy abounds as DJ Green Lantern—who's produced mixtapes and hit singles for Eminem, Lil Wayne and Ludacris, hosts "The Invasion" Sirius radio program and serves as Nas' official tour DJ—hits the decks. 8 p.m.-2 a.m. $20; $10 if you text "green" to the number above.
