Your girlfriend may have told you size doesn't matter, but when it comes to tailgating, Da Suit Crew says it does.
"More is better," said 34-year-old Chad Holsinger of Little Italy. "Always have more. More kegs, more beer, more everything."
Going big means doing your homework well in advance to make sure you're prepared for the big day.
"The night before, you have to prep everything," said Dan Bankmann. "You think you're going to get anything done in the morning? Forget it."
In addition to a bevy of good food, Da Suit Crew recommends bringing your party into the 21st century with the latest and greatest electronic gear.
"We have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth stereo," said Ryan Eichler. "We're doing time lapse video. That's what it takes to take it to the next level."
Once you've got your supplies, make sure everyone in your crew knows their role. Bankmann says most tailgate parties often fail to designate one person for a job that's as crucial to an epic tailgate as a driver or a chef.
"You have to make sure you have somebody that can pour delicious drinks like the ones we're having," he said. "Everybody's got the cook but somebody's gotta be the mixologist here."
