EAT

Trick-or-Treats for Grown-Ups

Wrightwood Park 2534 N. Greenview Ave. 773-340-1358

Admit it: You're too old to ring doorbells. But you can still collect goodies at Truck & Treat, which includes 10 savory and sweet dishes from five food trucks, a costume contest and a post-dinner Blue Moon pumpkin ale at Crossing (2548 N. Southport Ave.). 7 p.m. $30. RSVP required by 1 p.m.: cityswarmchicago.com.

DRINK

Angels and Devils

Untitled 111 W. Kinzie St. 312-880-1511

Heaven and hell await—in the form of Maxim models and a Sexy Little Devil costume contest with a $1,000 cash prize—at the Maxim Halloween Party, a red carpet bash which also features $10 Jim Beam Devil's Cut cocktails and DJ beats. 9 p.m.-1 a.m. No cover.

Nightmare on Ada Street

Ada Street 1664 N. Ada St. 773-697-7069

The dining room becomes a mini-movie theater at this Halloween bash, which includes half-priced cocktails (regularly $11) for costumed attendees—including the Rittenhouse rye and maple syrup-based Folsom Prison Blues—and a $100 gift card contest prize. Then, settle in with $5 popcorn and candy specials for a 10 p.m. screening of the original 1978 version of "Halloween." 9 p.m.-2 a.m. No cover.

DO

Double Trouble

The Annoyance Theatre 4830 N. Broadway 773-561-4665

Take in a live double feature with Annoyance's first-ever show from 1987, "Splatter Theater"—a slasher flick satire complete with (fake) buckets of blood (8 p.m.; $20)—and a new zom-rom-com, "Zombie Genius," about a post-apocalyptic zombie fighting for his civil rights who falls into forbidden love with a lady human (10 p.m.; $10).

Goth A Go-Go

Bottom Lounge 1375 W. Lake St. 312-666-6775

If every day is Halloween in your world, head to the Nocturna All Hallow's Eve Ball, where DJ Scary Lady Sarah spins new and classic goth, industrial, post-punk, shoegaze and more amid themed performances, creepy film projections, mask displays, vendor tables and a Glitter Guts photo booth. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. $18; $15 if in costume (17+).

REDEYE TIP OF THE DAY

Arrive in costume after 4 p.m. at any Chipotle restaurant and score $2 burritos, bowls, salads and tacos.
