Morrissey has announced the postponement of several upcoming concert dates for the upcoming week, including his Oct. 27 date at the Chicago Theatre.

These are not cancellations, only postponements while Morrissey returns home to England to attend to his sick mother. So clearly, it's nothing personal, Morrissey fans.

New dates are expected to be announced very soon. Ticket-buyers do not need to worry about having their tickets refunded or exchanged, as already-purchased tickets will be honored on the new date. The rest of the tour is not expected to be affected.
