When Mercadito Hospitality opened PT earlier this year inside the Talbott Hotel, diners were warned that it wouldn't stick around for long.
The restaurant group, which also owns River North restaurants Mercadito and Tavernita, was upfront in calling PT a pop-up restaurant that would operate throughout the summer until a permanent restaurant opened there in the fall.
That new restaurant will be called Little Market Brasserie, and it will open in "early winter," according to an announcement released Monday by Mercadito Hospitality. Tavernita's Ryan Poli is a part of the project, as are mixology masters Tad Carducci and Paul Tanguay of the Tipplings Bros., who created the cocktails at Mercadito, Tavernita and PT.
