In a nod to election season, the River North restaurant offers a Presidents menu inspired by our past and present leaders' favorite dishes including John F. Kennedy's chowder ($8.99), Gerald Ford's bibb salad with black pepper French dressing ($12.99), Jimmy Carter's cornbread-stuffed pork chop ($25.99) and Pres. Obama's horchata sorbet ($5.99). 11 a.m.-midnight.

The West Loop restaurant highlights fall favorites on its farm-to-table menu including homemade tortelloni filled with butternut squash, ricotta and zucchini sauce ($16) and a gluten-free Farinata pizza with mushrooms, fontina, truffle oil and pine nuts ($7), all made with fresh ingredients from local farms. 5-10 p.m.

The ups and downs of city life are explored in "Choosing to Be Here: A Storytelling Festival," which features 2nd Story company member Julie Ganey's humorous and dramatic solo show, "Love They Neighbor …Till It Hurts," nightly, with additional tales by a rotating cast of professional Chicago storytellers—Monday, it's Jen Ellison, Bob Eisenberg and WBEZ's Alison Cuddy—with live musical accompaniment. 7:30 p.m. $15.
