Wednesday night will be ablaze with Chicago Fire x 2

Whether you prefer soccer or prime-time dramas, here’s something that’ll get you fired up: Eamonn Walker, star of the NBC’s "Chicago Fire," will be part of the pregame ceremonies for Wednesday's Chicago Fire-Philadelphia Union game.

Walker, who plays Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, will host the event at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.

If that weren't enough, Wednesday's festivities also kick off the Fire's 15th anniversary celebration. Fire greats Peter Nowak, Chris Armas and Cuauhtémoc Blanco will be on hand and will be honored at halftime.

As for "Chicago Fire," there will be an advanced premiere of the show's pilot after the game ("Chicago Fire" is set to debut on NBC on Oct. 10).

Both the match and the premiere will set fire to the night--and in honor of the drama’s premise (it’s a show about firefighters in Chicago, duh) tickets to the match will be made available to firefighters and rescue workers.
