Perhaps it's because I watched "Braveheart" last night and can't get William Wallace's motivational battle speech out of my head. Or maybe it's because I felt like Tom Hanks in "Castaway" during Tuesday's White Sox game at the Cell. White Sox fans: IT'S GO TIME.
I came from my mother's womb crying "Go Go White Sox," and as such was raised carrying the giant chip on my shoulder of Sox fans being less prominent than fans of the team chasing a 100-loss season on the North Side, yet STILL outdrawing us.
The 2012 White Sox may be a flawed team. Heck, the geeks from "The Big Bang Theory" may score more than our team does as of late. But it's the last week of September and the South Siders are still competing for a playoff spot. Why aren't you there?
