In case you forgot that they reunited two years ago, Soundgarden has announced they do indeed plan to release music as a part of said reunion. The new album is called "King Animal" and follows the song "Live to Rise" they wrote for The Avengers soundtrack, which was the first new, original material the band had released since 1996's "Down on the Upside."

The album, scheduled to drop on November 13, will be produced by Adam Kasper. Its lead single is called "Been Away Too Long" and is expected to hit the radio this week.
