If Sunday night’s premiere of "Boardwalk Empire’s" third season left you hovering over the edge of your seat, we have news for you: Chicagoans won’t have to wait much longer for this season's next episode.

HBO’s hit, which gives us an eyeful of Prohibition-era Atlantic City, will hold a premiere of the third season’s second episode on Tuesday (the episode isn’t set to air until Sunday) in Chicago. With its speakeasy theme, Tommy Gun’s Garage (at 2114 S. Wabash St.) is a natural venue for the event. Doors open at 6 p.m., and guests will attend a cocktail reception before the 7 p.m. screening of the episode.

Northwestern grad Meg Chambers Steedle, who plays new character Billy Kent, will return to  Chicago to attend the screening.

So break out your flapper dresses and fedoras and get ready to party like it’s 1922. Alcohol may have been a scarce commodity back then, but--as fans of the show know--scandal, glamour and drama still thrived.
