Earlier this season, the White Sox attempted to propel Jake Peavy to an All-Star berth using the #TakeJake campaign, a social media movement that became wildly successful, despite Peavy's bid coming up short in the end.

Now the Sox are taking to those networks again, hosting a Social Media Week in order to highlight the fans' favorite moments from the 2012 season. The team is accepting nominations in a number of categories until the end of the week, including "Most clutch hit," "Most amazing catch" and "Favorite 2012 call by Ken Harrelson."

Fans can nominate players and begin voting next week on all social media platforms using designated hashtags, but they can also use whitesox.com and the team's Facebook page.

The results of the voting will be announced during the final homestand of the season, from Sept. 24-30.

Voting hashtags include:

>> Best offensive play (#BestOffenseSoxSMW)

>> Best defensive play #BestDSoxSMW)

>> Most amazing catch (#NiceGrabSoxSMW)

>> Most clutch hit (#ClutchSoxSMW)

>> Favorite place to visit in the ballpark (#MySpotSoxSMW)

>> Favorite 2012 call by Ken "Hawk" Harrelson (#HawkCallSoxSMW)

>> Favorite giveaway item (#1GiveawaySoxSMW)

>> Favorite #TakeJake video (#TakeJakeSoxSMW)

>> Best @WhiteSox tweet (#BestSoxTweetSMW)

>> Favorite photo gallery on Facebook (#BestSoxPixSMW)
