Seeing that I'm a responsible Irish Catholic boy raised on the South Side of Chicago, I have no knowledge of such a conundrum. I am getting married [Aug. 4], though, so it may soon become an issue. From all the scientific evidence I have seen, the no sex before competition because "it will make your legs weak" is pure myth. Despite this, I would still attempt to avoid coitus at least one hour before a fight.

It's a tough topic to discuss, to be honest. It's not something that I've really ever thought about, especially when dealing with sports. Everybody's body wears differently.

For sure; I definitely have [abstained from sex before competion]. I know I have before a game plenty of times just to build up my testosterone levels. Also, before the NFL combine I abstained from it.

There is a personal preference where people feel comfortable and some people are superstitious about certain things. So I'm sure some people do and some people could really care less and don't regard it as important or necessary to think about.
I think it's important to not over-exert yourself before a game—so take that however you'd like to.
