Lollapalooza fans don't have to wait a week to stand in long lines for a shirt at the merch tent to commemorate their experience. In fact, Chicagoan's don't even need tickets to the fest at all this year to get their hands on Lolla swag.
New this year to the fest is the Lollashop -- situated on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Van Buren Street -- which opened Friday to the public. Part boutique for designers like Threadless, Gap and other brands and part showroom for The Thompson Hotel set to open in 2013, the shop is fest organizer C3's space to offer merch to the general public.
