No soup for you, Chicago. Until Friday, at least

New Yorkers in the"Seinfeld"universe once lined up single file and endured abuse to get a taste of the Soup Nazi’s concoctions. On Friday, Chicago has a chance.

The Soup Nazi food truck will roll into a city that's used to getting heckled for a taste of iconic food --ever been to the Weiner’s Circle?-- from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The event looks to be a promo for WCIU-TV Chicago, who is teasing the visit on its website.

Location details have yet to be released, but according to OCWeekly, which had photos of the trucks' first visit to Newport Beach, Calif., last week, the truck boasts a small menu of notable edibles from the show. Among them: the "Soup of the Day," Junior Mints, Muffin Tops and Black and White Cookies.

The truck also promises "free iconic 'Seinfeld' food, treats, giveaways ... and maybe even meet The Soup Nazi, Larry Thomas," according to the "Seinfeld" Facebook page. Further details will be released on WCIU’s Facebook page before the event.

If the event is anything like Newport Beach’s visit, The Soup Nazi will be there himself, and the famed mulligatawny soup will be served.
