Have you heard? It’s hot out. Really hot. So hot that complaints about back sweat have become a social norm. While you’re looking for your own personal cooling center, why not aim for a spot that serves more than just chilled beer? Go for frozen booze. Whether you’re trying to beat the heat in Wicker Park or River North, these Chicago bars and restaurants are serving up icy treats that pack a buzz.

Spiked snow cones

Red Door
2118 N. Damen Ave., 773-697-7221
If you’ve experienced Malort Face firsthand, prepare yourself: Malort-chartreuse is among the flavors of “Adult Snow Cones” served in this new Bucktown restaurant. Not up for something so pungent? Other flavors include a manhattan, old-fashioned, orange blossom bourbon, pear mojito, and black cherry. Grab one Thursdays through Sundays for $7 each.

Crossing
2548 N. Southport Ave., 773-327-4900
Folks in Lincoln Park also can hop on the spiked snow cone craze out on the patio at Crossing. For $6, you can choose cherry, lemon, clementine, raspberry or vanilla-flavored vodka to spike snow cone syrup flavors including raspberry, orange grape or cherry. Can’t stick to one? Mix and match multiple syrup flavors to reach the perfect blend.

Boozy popsicles

The Anthem
1725 W. Division St., 773-697-4804
Grey Goose fans will be happy to see their favorite now comes extra-cold. This Ukrainian Village sports spot has cherry and orange-flavored Grey Goose popsicles on the menu for $5 a pop.
Drumbar
201 E. Delaware Place, 312-943-5000
This swanky lounge offers up a frozen treat worthy of rooftop ordering. Their new Cosmo-Popsicle ($10) is a blend of vodka, lime juice, cranberry and triple sec. Carrie Bradshaw would approve.

Adult milkshakes

25 Degrees
736 N. Clark, 312-943-9700
For its first summer in Chicago, this burger-focused spot is keeping its signature spiked milkshakes flowing, including a new flavor addition: “Bananas Foster,” a mix of rum, banana butterscotch and vanilla ice cream with an extra float of rum on top for $10.

Frozen moonshine

Dragon Ranch Moonshine & BBQ
441 N. Clark, 312-955-1900
This River North barbecue spot’s menu includes “The Bushwacker,” a frozen mix of Original Moonshine (a clear corn whiskey), two kinds of rum, Kahlua, cream of coconut, chocolate vodka and chocolate syrup served in a mason jar for $14. It may be a diet killer, but at least you’ll die happy.

(Coming soon!) Whiskey float

Hoyt’s
71 E. Wacker Dr., 312-346-9870
Starting the week of July 9, stop into Hoyt’s for a mix of Goose Island root beer, whiskey gelato and a shot of Wild Turkey—aka “Grandma’s Whiskey Float”—for $13.
