The month of June has included a variety of pride-related events across Chicago in celebration of Gay Pride Month. The main event is Friday-Sunday, but there are smaller, related events taking place too.

On Sunday, Captain Morgan Club, at 1060 W. Addison St., will host a Pride Fest event with Chicago-native Robbie Gold playing live as well as resident DJ Tecknique. A ticket giveaway is Wednesday.

Chicagoans also can celebrate Pride on Sunday at Berlin Nightclub, at 954 W. Belmont Ave., with a Scissor Sisters Matinee Pre Party (3 to 10 p.m.) & Pride Parade After Party (10 p.m. to 4 a.m.). Drink specials include $4 Old Style Light tallboys and $5 42 Below. The event will feature Sammy Jo, DJ Dicks, Swaguerilla, All the Way Kay, Shits & Giggles and resident DJs Greg Haus & Birthdaty Boy Chester.

The Neo-Futurists present their annual Pride Weekend benefit: "30 Queer Plays in 60 Straight Minutes", a special edition of "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes" that will pull together all the favorite queer-sexuality and gender-bending-themed plays from the past year into one Pride show. Proceeds will benefit and support local LGBTQ organizations. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Socca, at 3301 N. Clark St., will host the Pride Parade Brunch from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, featuring a continental brunch and regular summer brunch buffet by Chef Herring for $15.
