Foxy Shazam, The Drums to play Wicker Park Fest

Foxy Shazam, the Drums and Screaming Females will be among the many bands performing at this year's Wicker Park Fest on July 28 and 29, according to a press release.

The fest's three stages will see more than 40 acts over the two days, including Fang Island, Screaming Females, Iamdynamite, Foxy Shazam and the Drums on Saturday and Archie Powell, the Kickback, Lucero and Joe Pug on Sunday.

Along with the music, Wicker Park Fest will feature installations from local artists, including a gallery of large-scale inflatable sculptures.

The festival takes place on Milwaukee Ave. between North Ave. and Paulina from noon to 10 p.m. Suggested donation for the festival is $5. More information can be found at the event's Facebook page or at wickerparkfest.com.
