A penthouse condo on the 89th floor of the Trump Tower on the city's Near North Side has gone up for sale—and the asking price is a staggering $32 million.
The condo, which is billed on the Coldwell Banker site of the listing agent as "the highest residence in the Western hemisphere," has five bedrooms and seven full bathrooms, as well as two half-baths. The 14,260 square-foot penthouse, which has five fireplaces and 16-foot-high windows, may boast killer panoramic views of the entire city, but it hasn't been built out yet. Photos of the pricey pad show empty doorframes and open layouts. The design will be up to the eventual owner, as will the $12,150 monthly association fees.
